2015 Employee Annual Fund Kicks Off
Posted on March 26, 2015
The ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ kicked off its 2015 Employee Annual Fund this week, opening a campaign that brings together employees in support of the University.
Department representatives will distribute pledge cards that will allow employees to designate a gift amount and the college or division that will receive the gift. Gifts to endowments will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Dr. Mary Townsley, associate dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Alec Yasinsac, dean of the School of Computing, are the co-chairs of the 2015 Annual Fund. Dr. Robert Van Barrow, professor emeritus and former chair of the department of political science and criminal justice, represents University retirees.
Gifts are tax deductible and can be made in one payment or be deducted each pay period. The deadline to return pledge cards is April 28. This year’s goal is $585,000.
The campaign makes a meaningful difference for students, patients, colleagues, and all those in the community that ÃÛèÖÊÓƵserves.
The gifts provide resources to:
- Increase the number of scholarships available to students.
- Recruit top faculty and health care providers.
- Ensure that USA's health care and academic programs remain state-of-the-art.
