Mitchell Center Becomes 'Winter Wonderland' for ƵHoliday Concert

It may not snow outside, but the Ƶ Department of Music will transport the audience inside the Mitchell Center to a “Winter Wonderland” at the University’s annual Holiday Concert, scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert is free and open to the public. Complimentary holiday refreshments will be served following the show.
Featuring traditional and modern arrangements of holiday favorites, the concert includes performances from the ƵConcert Choir, University Chorale, ƵWind Ensemble, USA Symphony Orchestra, ƵOpera Theatre, ƵPiano Duo, ƵClarinet Ensemble, ƵWoodwind Quintet, Celtic Crúe, ƵTrumpet Ensemble and the ƵSteel Band. The Jaguar Marching Band will continue its tradition of closing the evening, this year with a full-band performance of “Christmas Festival.”
Free parking will be available in the following lots: Mitchell Center, Gamma, Humanities, and Mitchell College of Business. Handicapped parking will be available in the Mitchell Center lot. JagTran will provide round-trip transportation between parking lots and the Mitchell Center before and after the event.
