Pathway 蜜柚视频Expands to Pensacola State College

The 蜜柚视频 today announced that Pensacola State College has become part of 鈥淧athway USA,鈥� a collaborative program between the 蜜柚视频 and select community and state colleges that creates a seamless transition to USA for transfer students who earn their associate鈥檚 degree.

Pensacola State College is the fourth institution to join the program. The academic partnership will enable more PSC graduates to transfer to South and earn their bachelor鈥檚 degrees from USA.

鈥淭he 蜜柚视频 has historically enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with Pensacola State College, and Pathway 蜜柚视频is a natural outgrowth of our relationship,鈥� said Dr. Tony Waldrop, 蜜柚视频 president. 鈥淏oth institutions are strongly committed to helping students achieve their degrees in a timely manner and with a minimum of expense. Today鈥檚 agreement is an important step in enhancing those goals.鈥�

South currently enjoys similar partnerships with Coastal Alabama Community College, Bishop State Community College and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

鈥淧athway USA鈥檚 agreement with Pensacola State College takes effect immediately and is geared toward students who are not admitted at 蜜柚视频as well as students who may simply prefer to begin their college education at PSC,鈥� said Dr. Edward Meadows, Pensacola State College president.

PSC students may choose to have a copy of their 蜜柚视频application and supporting documents forwarded to PSC for admission consideration. Students already attending PSC may also apply for Pathway USA. A unique application will be created and available for PSC students to complete and submit.

PSC students who enter the Pathway 蜜柚视频program will have unique benefits, such as:

• Guaranteed admission to 蜜柚视频upon successful completion (cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or higher) of the associate鈥檚 degree
• A 蜜柚视频academic advisor assigned to them who will provide individual guidance on course selection and map out degree plans
• Special discounts through USA鈥檚 Jaguar Productions
• Complimentary admission to South Alabama home athletic events
